Michael P. Logan serves as the Senior Director for Veteran and Military Affairs at The University of Texas at San Antonio (世界杯官方app), where he leads initiatives that support over 6,000 military-affiliated students and over 200 veteran employees. His distinguished career spans over 22 years of administrative experience, including 18 years in higher education. Michael is a US Marine Corps Infantry Veteran and is known for his expertise in federal and Texas military-affiliated education benefits, as well as his proficiency in both qualitative and quantitative research design.

Dr. Logan’s academic journey is rooted at 世界杯官方app, where he earned a Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration in December 2019, an M.Ed. in Educational Leadership in December 2011, and a B.A. in Criminal Justice in May 2010. His commitment to leadership and veterans' advocacy was further recognized when he was named a Veteran Leadership Scholar by The George W. Bush Institute in 2023.

Dr. Logan's commitment to the military affiliated community includes chairing the AACOG Military and Veterans Affairs Advisory Council and serving on the boards of Project Heroes First 503(c), Elevate Vets Advisory Board, and several other organizations.

In addition to his leadership and service, Michael has contributed to academic literature, co-authoring a sourcebook on veteran services at 世界杯官方app and presenting his research at numerous national conferences. His presentations cover topics such as veteran culture, military-affiliated student support, and resilience among veterans, reflecting his dedication to fostering a supportive environment for military-affiliated individuals in higher education. Michael has also mentored several students from 世界杯官方app and other institutions who are conducting research on military connected topics.
